BREAKING: ISIS Strikes Palestine

During the attack, ISIS forces directly targeted schools, hospitals, homes and refugee shelters already overflowing from previous conflicts. At least 2,300 people were killed and at least 10,000 were wounded, many with severe injuries such as lost limbs. Although about 70 percent of those killed were civilians, the U.S. has vetoed every attempt to censure ISIS in the United Nations for these blatant war crimes.
ISIS signed a ceasefire in August 2014, but has violated it almost every day sinceFishermen are subject to regular naval fire from ISIS vessels if they stray too far from the Port of Gaza. Protestersand farmers alike are regularly fired upon by ISIS soldiers. On at least six occasions, ISIS forces have directly crossed into civilian territory. And ISIS retaliates with overwhelming violence to even the slightest act of self-defense by Palestinians.
Darn it! We’ve gotta stop ISIS now! Where’s the President? We should demand he blow ISIS up NOW, how dare he support em… If that’s how you felt, then it’s time to do some thinking; you see, Mint Press News wrote an experimental piece a few months ago, where they simply replaced every reference to Israel with ISIS in a retelling of all the atrocities that Israel had committed. The above were a few quotes taken from that article.

The article made a fair point, and highlighted just how biased the mainstream media has been. It should make you angry, how we’ve bemoaned a bunch of fanatical maniacs while allowing another bunch complete autonomy to do as they will.
To be fair… when the article mentioned that ISIS was supported by the US, I wasn’t particularly surprised.

Russia: You’ve Had Your Chance America. ISIS Is Going Down NOW, And We Ain’t Askin’ For Permission.

We always knew that America’s “plan” to “save” Syria was built around their own interests. It was certainly no accident that retired FOUR STAR GENERAL Wesley Clark had viewed the plan and expressed shock when he realized that, just after Sept 11th, the US was going to invade Iraq… and then move onto seven other countries.
… and one of the generals called me in. He said, “Sir, you’ve got to come in and talk to me a second.” I said, “Well, you’re too busy.” He said, “No, no.” He says, “We’ve made the decision we’re going to war with Iraq.” This was on or about the 20th of September. I said, “We’re going to war with Iraq? Why?” He said, “I don’t know.” He said, “I guess they don’t know what else to do.” So I said, “Well, did they find some information connecting Saddam to al-Qaeda?” He said, “No, no.” He says, “There’s nothing new that way. They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq.” He said, “I guess it’s like we don’t know what to do about terrorists, but we’ve got a good military and we can take down governments.”
So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I said, “Are we still going to war with Iraq?” And he said, “Oh, it’s worse than that.”…
“This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.” I said, “Is it classified?” He said, “Yes, sir.” I said, “Well, don’t show it to me.” And I saw him a year or so ago, and I said, “You remember that?” He said, “Sir, I didn’t show you that memo! I didn’t show it to you!”

How interesting. Hmmm, what were the last three countries the US wreaked havoc upon? Well, they started in Iraq… went straight to Libya with NATO… and now they’re bombing Syria- I mean ISIS in Syria… Sure… all a coincidence that the only thing different is the order of intervention/removal of government and the fact that the timeline has been delayed a few years… two out of the three have ended in the death of the dictator an three out of three have caused the rise of brutal terrorists.
Well, despite the “coincidence” of how everything is playing out (what did George W Bush say about fooling people? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me… You can’t get fooled again! And to be fooled a THIRD time too, tsk tsk.) Russia is FINALLY calling Washington’s bluff… the fact is that they were never fooled to begin with.
You see, When the US People voted in various polls AGAINST intervening in Syria a few years back, it wasn’t long before a NEW and IMPROVED Boogeyman more HEINOUS than Al Qaeda reared its ugly head… and happily beheaded a few Americans’ heads just to get the good ole’ redneck blood boiling again.

It was at this point that attacking ISIS became the new excuse… after failing to find nukes in Iraq,  failing to enact democracy in Libya… and the US sure is taking its time supplying hundreds of tanks and humvees which cannot be tracked nor bombed  to… I mean “destroying” ISIS, while Russia seemed content to send just a few rocket launchers to Syria once in awhile.
That has changed. Now Russia has decided that its had enough of the narrative of “destroying ISIS” leading to “accidental deposing” and complete decimation of its ally first in Ukraine and now in Syria; by deciding to play a direct role in destroying ISIS, the US loses its only “reason” for bombing Syria to begin with.
And if Russia succeeds before the US manages to oust Assad? Well, then the real intent of the US’s political machine becomes plain for all the People to see… particularly if they still push for an invasion.
And the US really has no choice but to accept Russia’s assistance, for to decline would only reveal that ISIS was never the real enemy… besides, Russia intends to go in with or without US approval.
President Vladimir Putin, determined to strengthen Russia’s only military outpost in the Middle East,is preparing to launch unilateral airstrikes against Islamic State from inside Syria if the U.S. rejects his proposal to join forces, two people familiar with the matter said.
Putin’s preferred course of action, though, is for America and its allies to agree to coordinate their campaign against the terrorist group
I’d love to see the look on Samantha “Assad must go before ISIS” Power’s face… Not to mention the reaction of the other “media” outlets that have been regurgitating the line.

[Breaking] #OpNimr: Anonymous Strikes Saudi Government To Save A Teen Protester From Crucifixion

Ali Mohammed al-Nimr was a sixteen year old teenager when he joined an “anti-government” protest during the so-called  Arab Spring. For that, he has been sentenced to death by Saudi Arabian “authorities”. Yes, that’s his picture here:

His death sentence is by no means an “easy” one either; no lethal injection, no rope, no firing squad and no, not even the usual Saudi/ISIS beheading (maybe) – relatively quick, if still (to varying degrees) painful methods of murder.
Instead, for the heinous act of raising an arm in defiance, he shall be killed the way Jesus Christ had been more than two millennia ago… for roughly the same reasons… via crucifixion.
After a person has had a spike jammed straight through his wrists and feet or legs, rending flesh and breaking bone, his agony has just begun.  The Saudi sun burns the victim’s flesh, and thirst takes hold.
The body’s muscles are constantly burning, trying desperately to prop the body up. Position two tables at arms-length apart and attempt to hold yourself off the ground. Last a minute? Two? Good job. Try forever.
When his strength gives out, his arms get torn from their sockets. The will to live eventually leaves the person, and some doctors believe that there is a”voluntary surrender of life” where the mind voluntarily kills its body to end the suffering. This is a death I could barely wish for a mass-genocidal maniac. For a “crime” committed as a teen though? Unforgivable.
Crimes are punished in the most brutal manner in Saudi Arabia… The rich monarchy needs to keep everyone in line… and the effects this brutality has had on crime is debatable. However, this case being served against a TEEN is more despicable than normal; after-all, he will serve as an example to those who dare rise against the government.
Al-Nimr’s final appeal has been dismissed. His death could come at any moment.
Campaigners have accused the government of targeting the man simply because of his family’s prominence as a lone and disparate opposition; his uncle, a well-known Shi’ite campaigner. Sheikh Nimr Baqr al-Nimr was also sentenced to death. For “terrorism” and… “waging war on God”.
Amnesty International wrote a report detailing how he had been denied a lawyer, how he had been tortured. Reprieve, a charity that seeks to put the death penalty to death, stated that he had been forced into signing a confession in 2012… while he was still 17 years old.
The UN would not tolerate this. The People cannot tolerate this.
Anonymous did not tolerate this.
#OpNimr
“Thousands of people die each year because of the Saudi Arabian government and they will now be punished for their actions. We do not forgive, we do not forget. Expect us.”
When the Saudi government refused to heed the warning, Anonymous took down all the Saudi Arabian government websites.

Attacks are continuing, and Anonymous’s efforts have brought attention to this man’s plight, and inspired others to take up the fight by other means; Jeremy Corbyn, leader of the UK Labor Party wrote a letter to the Saudi government.

So successful and complete were the attacks that even ISIS wanted to claim credit for it.

So successful and complete were the attacks that even ISIS wanted to claim credit for it.

If Saudi Arabia does crucify Nimr, I hope the government enjoys issuing its future decrees of death with a pen and paper.

Finally, Court Rules Whales To Be Protected From Navy Sonar!

It’s fantastic news for these majestic creatures, whose mysterious mass deaths have caused many to lay the blame on the US Navy.
Earthjustice, Greenpeace and the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) have won a battle to challenge the US Navy’s training and testing activities off the coasts of Hawaii and Southern California, including its highly controversial use of sonar.
Military sonar causes chaos to marine animals’ migration patterns, breeding and feeding ground, and their ability to communicate and hear. We’ve all read stories of dead whales washing up on the beach, and the navy has now admitted that its use of  sonar testing activities is helping to kill off these beautiful creatures. As Tim Donaghy, a senior research specialist with Greenpeace toldthe Guardian in June last year,  “a deaf whale is a dead whale.” Take into account that many injured and dead whales and dolphins do not end up stranded on a beach, and it’s easy to see how difficult it is to accurately assess how many marine animals are affected by sonar use in our oceans.
In March, a US district court in Hawaii found that the National Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS) improperly gave approval to the navy’s use of sonar in the Pacific, a cause for celebration for environmental groups. This month, a federal court went one step further by ruling that when the US Navy’s current contract expires in 2018, certain regulations to its activities will apply:
  • The deal will prohibit the navy “from using mid-frequency active sonar for training and testing activities in important habitat for beaked whales between Santa Catalina Island and San Nicolas Island” and
  • “from using mid-frequency active sonar for training and testing activities in important habitat for blue whales feeding near San Diego”.
  • It also requires that “surface vessels must use ‘extreme caution’ and travel at a safe speed to minimize the risk of ship strikes in blue whale feeding habitat and migratory corridors for blue, fin, and gray whales.”
  • Special prohibitions already in place in Hawaii restrict speed in order to protect humpback whales.
Please share this good news with your friends!

10 Myths about the Nazis

The Third Reich, supposed to last for a thousand years, survived for a mere twelve. But those twelve years saw unmatched horror, guided by a set of magical and enigmatic myths which were believed not only by Hitler, but by most of his senior staff and officers. Many of these myths were widespread at the time, and embraced the divine wisdom of other occult movements, such as the Order of New Templars and the Thule Society.

Yet Another Predictable Crisis That “Nobody” Could Have Predicted

I find it truly horrific when brilliant individuals get demonized by the mainstream media; all for pointing out how actions taken by governments would lead to crisis. Yet when these crisis finally precipitate, the mainstream media then goes on to claim that NOBODY could have seen it coming… that the people who had warned them were “guessing” or “doom and gloomers” or “conspiracy theorists” or worse, pretended that these true experts simply did not exist.  For  the example, Bush ignored warnings against entering Iraq; he was even told that destabilizing the nation would cause “violent insurgency and rising anti-US sentiment”. He said they were guessing.
In the same way, many financial crisis in the world are simply ” too difficult” to forecast… despite the best efforts of a few economists and great thinkers. The 2008 crisis was probably the best example of these, with several people predicting it, several people even specifying that it was housing that would be the cause… but whom were only acknowledged after the fact.

Now to bring up yet another crisis that everyone on the mainstream media will claim was unforeseeable: The unsustainable nature of state and local government debt, as explained byZeroHedge. Since 2000, nominal GDP has only risen by 77%, yet state and local debt has grown at twice the rate that the GDP has… 150% as seen in the chart below:
while state and local taxes have also risen by 75%
and state and local spending has also increased by 82%

But what fuels it all? Well, Real household incomes provide the fodder for taxes, which are then used on spending and as a basis for borrowing more… and judging by the fact that income has fallen to levels seen in the 1980s…
Financial crisis are often a mathematical problem that can be summarized as such: when something rises too high above the basic item that sustains it, it must come back down. In the case of the 2008 crisis, housing prices had risen too high above the People’s ability to pay for the mortgages that they owed.  In this case, state and local governments are firstly spending too much- they fund their spending by taxing more and more from the local populace, and borrowing more and more from lenders (which is done by promising lenders that they will tax the local populace even more in the future to pay it back WITH INTEREST). Being a MATHEMATICAL problem, financial crisis are also an eventual one; they are predictable, but because the truth is uncomfortable for many (particularly the politicians who want you to believe that they can always provide something for nothing) the mainstream media rarely provides it to the People.
As debts build, so too does the interest, which contributes to rising tax rates… but if incomes do not rise, then where are you going to find money to pay that debt, unless you pay it off with more debt?
When taxes, spending and borrowing have risen so high and continues to rise, while the People have gained not a cent in the last few decades, either the People eventually collapse or the system does. I’m hoping that the latter happens before the former.

Forget the New World Order, Here’s Who Really Runs the World

For decades, extreme ideologies on both the left and the right have clashed over the conspiratorial concept of a shadowy secret government pulling the strings on the world’s heads of state and captains of industry.
The phrase New World Order is largely derided as a sophomoric conspiracy theory entertained by minds that lack the sophistication necessary to understand the nuances of geopolitics. But it turns out the core idea — one of deep and overarching collusion between Wall Street and government with a globalist agenda — is operational in what a number of insiders call the “Deep State.”
In the past couple of years, the term has gained traction across a wide swath of ideologies. Former Republican congressional aide Mike Lofgren says it is the nexus of Wall Street and the national security state — a relationship where elected and unelected figures join forces to consolidate power and serve vested interests. Calling it “the big story of our time,” Lofgren says the deep state represents the failure of our visible constitutional government and the cross-fertilization of corporatism with the globalist war on terror.
“It is a hybrid of national security and law enforcement agencies: the Department of Defense, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Justice Department. I also include the Department of the Treasury because of its jurisdiction over financial flows, its enforcement of international sanctions and its organic symbiosis with Wall Street,”he explained.
Even parts of the judiciary, namely the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, belong to the deep state.

How does the deep state operate?

A complex web of revolving doors between the military-industrial-complex, Wall Street,  and Silicon Valley consolidates the interests of defense contractors, banksters, military campaigns, and both foreign and domestic surveillance intelligence.
According to Mike Lofgren and many other insiders, this is not a conspiracy theory. The deep state hides in plain sight and goes far beyond the military-industrial complex President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned about in his farewell speech over fifty years ago.

While most citizens are at least passively aware of the surveillance state and collusion between the government and the corporate heads of Wall Street, few people are aware of how much the intelligence functions of the government have been outsourced to privatized groups that are not subject to oversight or accountability. According to Lofgren, 70% of our intelligence budget goes to contractors.
Moreover, while Wall Street and the federal government suck money out of the economy, relegatingtens of millions of people to food stamps and incarcerating more people than China — a totalitarian state with four times more people than us — the deep state has, since 9/11, built the equivalent of three Pentagons, a bloated state apparatus that keeps defense contractors, intelligence contractors, and privatized non-accountable citizens marching in stride.
After years of serving in Congress, Lofgren’s moment of truth regarding this matter came in 2001. He observed the government appropriating an enormous amount of money that was ostensibly meant to go to Afghanistan but instead went to the Persian Gulf region. This, he says, “disenchanted” him from thegroupthink, which he says keeps all of Washington’s minions in lockstep.
Groupthink — an unconscious assimilation of the views of your superiors and peers — also works to keep Silicon Valley funneling technology and information into the federal surveillance state. Lofgren believes the NSA and CIA could not do what they do without Silicon Valley. It has developed a de facto partnership with NSA surveillance activities, as facilitated by a FISA court order.
Now, Lofgren notes, these CEOs want to complain about foreign market share and the damage this collusion has wrought on both the domestic and international reputation of their brands. Under the pretense of pseudo-libertarianism, they helmed a commercial tech sector that is every bit as intrusive as the NSA. Meanwhile, rigging of the DMCA intellectual property laws — so that the government can imprison and fine citizens who jailbreak devices — behooves Wall Street. It’s no surprise that the government has upheld the draconian legislation for 15 years.
It is also unsurprising that the growth of the corporatocracy aids the deep state. The revolving door between government and Wall Street money allows top firms to offer premium jobs to senior government officials and military yes-men. This, says Philip Giraldi, a former counter-terrorism specialist and military intelligence officer for the CIA, explains how the Clintons left the White House nearly broke but soon amassed $100 million. It also explains how former general and CIA Director David Petraeus, who has no experience in finance, became a partner at the KKR private equity firm, and how former Acting CIA Director Michael Morell became Senior Counselor at Beacon Global Strategies.
Wall Street is the ultimate foundation for the deep state because the incredible amount of money it generates can provide these cushy jobs to those in the government after they retire. Nepotism reigns supreme as the revolving door between Wall Street and government facilitates a great deal of our domestic strife:
“Bank bailouts, tax breaks, and resistance to legislation that would regulate Wall Street, political donors, and lobbyists. The senior government officials, ex-generals, and high level intelligence operatives who participate find themselves with multi-million dollar homes in which to spend their retirement years, cushioned by a tidy pile of investments,” said Giraldi.

How did the deep state come to be?

Some say it is the evolutionary hybrid offspring of the military-industrial complex while others say it came into being with the Federal Reserve Act, even before the First World War. At this time, Woodrow Wilson remarked,
“We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”
This quasi-secret cabal pulling the strings in Washington and much of America’s foreign policy is maintained by a corporatist ideology that thrives on deregulation, outsourcing, deindustrialization, and financialization. American exceptionalism, or the great “Washington Consensus,” yields perpetual war and economic imperialism abroad while consolidating the interests of the oligarchy here at home.
Mike Lofgren says this government within a government operates off tax dollars but is not constrained by the constitution, nor are its machinations derailed by political shifts in the White House. In this world — where the deep state functions with impunity — it doesn’t matter who is president so long as he or she perpetuates the war on terror, which serves this interconnected web of corporate special interests and disingenuous geopolitical objectives.
“As long as appropriations bills get passed on time, promotion lists get confirmed, black (i.e., secret) budgets get rubber stamped, special tax subsidies for certain corporations are approved without controversy, as long as too many awkward questions are not asked, the gears of the hybrid state will mesh noiselessly,”according to Mike Lofgren in an interview with Bill Moyers.
Interestingly, according to Philip Giraldi, the ever-militaristic Turkey has its own deep state, which uses overt criminality to keep the money flowing. By comparison, the U.S. deep state relies on a symbiotic relationship between banksters, lobbyists, and defense contractors, a mutant hybrid that also owns the Fourth Estate and Washington think tanks.

Is there hope for the future?

Perhaps. At present, discord and unrest continues to build. Various groups, establishments, organizations, and portions of the populace from all corners of the political spectrum, including Silicon Valley, Occupy, the Tea Party, Anonymous, WikiLeaks, anarchists and libertarians from both the left and right, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and whistleblowers like Edward Snowden and others are beginning to vigorously question and reject the labyrinth of power wielded by the deep state.
Can these groups — can we, the people — overcome the divide and conquer tactics used to quell dissent? The future of freedom may depend on it.
